Derek Carr Signs a Four-Year Deal With the Saints

The New Orleans Saints have just signed quarterback Derek Carr to a four-year deal, making him one of the top names in the QB market to find a new team. The Saints reportedly had their sights set on Carr for some time before finally executing the signing. While Carr was expected by many to sign with the New York Jets, the Saints swooped in and secured him as their top option. Aaron Rodgers remains the other top name amongst available QBs, with the Jets reportedly pursuing him as their top option. However, with the Saints' successful acquisition of Carr, it seems that the Jets are all in for Rodgers. If the Jets fail to acquire the veteran Green Bay quarterback, they will likely find themselves in a difficult position.
