What Free Agents should the Eagles Consider Bringing Back?

Who Are Free Agents: This year, the Birds have a lot of key players set to hit the open market. While I am sure Howie would love to resign everyone, the Eagles have to stay under the cap. For the Birds to stay under the cap, they need to be selective with players and contracts. Some of the notable free agents are Miles Sanders, C.J. Gardener Johnson, Fletcher Cox, Brandon Graham, T.J. Edwards, Jason Kelce, Isaac Seumalo, and James Bradberry. All of these players are key contributors for the Eagles this year, but they are set for the open market. Some of the players on here are Eagles legends and it would be very hard to say goodbye to them, but at the end of the day it is a business and the front office has to do what is right for the team. Offensive Free Agents 🏈: Two of our biggest free agents on the offensive side of the ball are free agents. Those two players are Miles Sanders and Eagles legend Jason Kelce. Miles Sanders is having the best year of his career and is on pace to have the first 1,000 rushing-yard season of his career and the first for the Eagles since Shady in 2014. Miles Sanders has proven this year that he has what it takes to be a lead back, showing off all of the skills needed for one. Sanders is going to look for money this offseason and if I was the Eagles, I would pay the man. As for Jason Kelce, he was considering retiring after last season but came back. After the success and the season he is having, he will come back again. I can not see him playing anywhere other than the Eagles and because of that, the Eagles should bring him back on a small contract simply because of his age. The last free agent on the offense is Isaac Seumalo. He is a great offensive lineman and the Eagles should really consider bringing him back on a multi-year deal. Defensive Front Free Agents🤺 : The Eagles defense has been one of the best this year, leading the league in turnovers with 21. While our young players on the D-Line are not free agents, two of our vets are. Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox have been here their entire career and have been impact players the entire time. While they are legends, they are both getting up in age and it is showing in their play. In my opinion, the Birds should only bring back Brandon Graham. Even though he is older than Fletcher Cox, he is producing better and he will look for a smaller deal. As for Fletcher Cox, he is not producing the same way that he used to and it is showing. He is also going to be looking for a bigger deal and i would not want to be the team to pay him that. Linebackers and Beyond: The stars of the Eagles defense this year have been the defensive backs and linebackers. T.J. Edwards has been the best linebacker we have had in years and the Eagles should definitely look into bringing him back to the team. As for the secondary, the two big free agents are James Bradberry and C.J. Gardener Johnson. They have both been amazing and Howie should consider resigning them both. It is rumored right now that C.J. is the most likely free agent to be resigned this year and there is a reason why. He is the leader in interceptions this year and The Eagles should definitely bring the man back. All IN All: All of these players are key contributors but the team can only bring back so many. So, Howie do your magic and bring back as many of these players as you can!
