THE BIRDS FIGHT FROM BEHIND 🦅

1st Half☹️: During the first half of the game, the Birds came out flat and not looking ready to compete. The Colts came down the field and scored immediately on the first drive, attacking us with the run, which is our weak point. The Eagles scored next with a very disappointing drive and scoring a field goal. The Eagles should be rolling this team over, they are just going away from what makes this team special. 💩 The first have is ended with a field from the colts to make the score 10-3 heading into the locker room. 2nd Half🦅: In the second half, the birds came out looking to attack right from the jump. Instead, things don't go as planned and the colts get a strip sack on the opening drive of the second half. The Eagles made two big free-agent signings this past weekend signing Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph. They made an immediate impact on this game with them both helping on this sack on Matt Ryan. These two signings were brought in just to stop the run. Other than the first drive, with the two new players, the Birds were able to limit Jonathan Taylor to 38 yards. At the start of the 4th quarter, Hurts throws a dot to Quez Watkins for a touchdown to make the score 13-10 💪This touchdown was the first sign of life for the Eagles, turning the page on a bad first half. With the score 13-10 Colts, the Colts are on the goal line with 3rd and Goal. Haasan Reddick comes up with a huge sack to make the Colts kick the field goal to put them up 16-10 instead of scoring a touchdown. Getting this sack is huge for the Eagles, it took the Colts out of touchdown range. If they were to score a touchdown here the Colts would be up two touchdowns with it almost being impossible for the Eagles to win. Then to win the game, The Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts runs in the touchdown with a minute left. The Colts left a wide-open lane for Hurts to rush the ball in on 3rd and Goal, securing the W for the Birds 🦅 Leaving Jalen Hurts wide open for a running touchdown is the stupidest thing you can do. 10 out of 10 times, he is going to run in for the score because of his ability to run the ball so well. FINAL🔥: The Birds would go on to win the game 17-16. This game marks a hard-fought win to improve to an NFL-best 9-1 record. A hard-fought win is a good way to show your fight and character. While it was not a pretty win, a win is a win. In the words of Nick Sirianni, "THAT'S GAME F#CK YOU"
