Should Hurts Play against the Saints???

Is he practicing?: During team practices today, Jalen Hurts was seen running reps and practicing with the first team. While this does not confirm that he is playing against the Saints, it shows a good possibility that he might be playing. This weeks game against the Saints is a very big game because if the Eagles win, they lock up the one seed, and because we have the Saints first-round pick next year and we want to get it as low as possible. The Birds are going to want to try and win this game, so they can rest their players for the last week of the season. If we rest them that week, they also get another week of rest during the first round bye that we would have. Having these rest days are a huge advantage especially because of the injuries that the team is having at the moment.

So Should He Be Playing?: In reality, the Eagles have a very good shot at beating the saints without Jalen Hurts. The Saints are not a very good team and could be beaten with Gardener Minshew at the helm of the offense. Last week with Gardener Minshew, we almost beat a very good Cowboys team. With that being said, if the Eagles just control their turnovers, they can beat the Saints now without Hurts. That being said, if you want to ensure that you win and lock up that one seed, you can start Hurts if he is healthy enough to play. playing Hurts would almost guarantee a win against the Saints and the one seed for the Birds.
