What Makes It So Good?: The Eagles defense this year has been absolutely killer, from interceptions, sacks, and everything else, the defense has been unreal. The Birds front defenders have the most sacks in the league, which is 49, with Haason Reddick leading the way with 10. Having this good of a front is only better for the cornerbacks because they have to do less work. Putting so much pressure on the quarterback forces him to throw uncomfortably and make mistakes. These mistakes lead to interceptions which the Eagles have the most at 15. The Eagles also have the league leader in interceptions in C.J. Gardener Johnson with 6. This good of a defense is what wins games and will take them far into the playoffs.
How does this help the offense?: Simply put, this helps the offense because they are able to have the ball more. The more times the offense gets the ball, the more opportunities they have to score. The more minutes the offense plays, the more they tire out the other team's defense. This team will win with their offense because it is the best in the league.
