How do the Sixers match up?: The Thunder are currently the 12th seed in the western conference. While they are not a very good team, they have a very good young core led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a rising star in the NBA. Shai is currently having the best year of his career, averaging 31 Points, 6 Assists, and 5 Rebounds. He is putting together a very good year and making the Thunder a good but young team. The Sixers can put De'Anthony Melton on Shai for the game and mix in some Tisse minutes to slow him down. If you slow Shai down, this Thunder team is very beatable. They are a very young team that the Sixers can take advantage of, especially Joel Embiid. They do not have a good enough center to stop Joel Embiid, so I expect him to go off.

How Will They Be Able To Win?: While the Thunder are a fast young team, they are no match for the 76ers. Joel Embiid is going to be able to dominate any player that the Thunder throw at him with no problem. James Harden will be able to control the game with his unstoppable pick-and-roll game with Joel Embiid. Any team that the 76ers play against have a hard time guarding the pick and roll and the Thunder are no different. The Sixers will take care of business in OKC and handle them with no problem. As long as the Sixers are shutting down Shai, they can take this game with ease.
