How Can The Sixers Beat The Pelicans?

How do the Sixers match up?: The Pelicans are currently the number one seed in the west, with one of the best records in basketball. They are a very dangerous team with some serious weapons. They have one of the best young players in the league in Zion Williamson, who is just getting better every single game. Last night against the Timberwolves Zion had a career-high 43 points with 5 assists and 3 rebounds. Stopping Zion is going to be incredibly hard and a challenge for the team. Luckily for the 76ers, we have the second-best defense in the entire league. While we do not have that player who can lock up their best player, our team defense is amazing. With the best big man defender in the NBA in Embiid, our defense shuts down other teams. With even more defense off the bench, the Sixers look to have a great game against a really good team. Another plus for the Sixers is that Maxey is probable to come back this game. Adding him to the hot 76ers is going to be huge. While he will be on a minute restriction, he will have a big impact. How Will They Be Able To Win?: While the Pelicans are one of the best teams in the league, the 76ers team defense will be able to shut down their offense. With 3 players in the top 15 of defensive ratings, our team is built to stop other teams. Another plus for the Sixers is that Brandon Ingram is out right now for the Pelicans and should still be out for the Sixers game. This takes another threat off that side of the ball for the Pelicans, making it easier for the 76ers to defend. Even though the Sixers lost against the Wizards, their hot playing as of late will take them over the hump. The team just needs Embiid and Harden to have big games like normal, and they will win.
